Little burst of activity are usual on physical rehabilitation, the majority of exercises are meant to be done in series along the day rather than in one sit. Thus we designed levels that take no more than a minute to complete. Players can quickly engage in a level while waiting for their tea to boil, or play a couple of levels during advertisements.
At Brigid Games, the gameplay is specially curated by our team of experts in behavioral science. Thus the amount of exercise required to obtain points varies during the level. Initially, short joint movement yields great scores but as the patient shows improvement in mobility points are awarded for increasingly precise movements.
Each level in our games have several routes to complete it, each route requires different levels of physical dexterity to be completed, however the harder the route the greater the amount of points and rewards that can be earned. Thus every level can be constantly replayed in order to improve the score by taking different paths. We hope that as the user regains its health he can rerun the levels in order to obtain the highest score possible in every level.
Some examples of the games we develop can be seen here:

We design arcade games for mobile devices and PC, these games are meant to be played in conjunction with our wearable devices to help in the rehabilitation process. However, games can also be enjoyed by other means like Xbox controllers or the mobile device’s sensors like the touchscreen so everyone can enjoy them.
