Wearables

Brigit Games started similar to other exercise applications by using motion sensors like Microsoft’s Kinect sensor to control character movement. (You can see some of our initial developments with motion sensors by clicking this link). As time passed it became apparent that by using cameras and other motion sensors the user became stalled requiring a specific time, place, and static equipment to do the exercises. Thus limiting the opportunities to work on their rehabilitation.

We decided to create our own hardware: wearable devices that can be incorporated to everyday life, devices that can be quickly put on and take off as the user requires, devices that could be connected to every smart devices or computer so the user don’t require special equipment only their cellphone and a couple of minutes to work on regaining their health.

The wearable devices developed by Brigit Games are day to day clothes and accessories modified with conductive fabrics in order to record the user movement, pressure or orientation. The wearable devices can be washed and be exposed to rain without an issue because the processing unit and the rechargeable batteries can be separated by the implementation of snaps or hook and loop fasteners.

Some examples of the wearable devices we develop can be seen here:

Wrist Movement Glove

A glove that can detect wrist movement. With this glove, you control the game character jump height or change flight angle by moving your wrist.

The glove has conductive textiles in the fingers so you can still use your phone touchscreen while wearing it.

AR Footwear

Do you ever wished your game character to walk, run or jump according to your own movement? With this Augmented reality (AR) footwear, you can translate your movement to game inputs.

The sensors can be implemented in any footwear with minor modifications sou you can use your favorite designs as game controllers.

Any joint IMUS

We are currently developing a band that incorporate inertial movement units (IMU) and can be attached to any joint to record different movements.

With this device user can control the game character by moving any joint like the elbow, knee, shoulder, etc.

This devices are meant to be connected to our games in order to help during the process of physical rehabilitation. All of the devices connect trough Bluetooth with an smart device and are powered by a rechargeable Lipo Batery using an stander USB micro B charger (similar to the one used by android cell phones). For more details about the the hardware please contact us.

Want a custom wearable?
Do you want us to create a custom wearable device for your needs? We are currently expanding our catalog, you can be sure we are working hard to bring you more experiences. In the meantime you can contact us with your specific need so we can work on a custom wearable device.
